Q: What Is My Photography Style?

A: I would best describe my style as relaxed, light and natural. My images reflect my love of that "clean look", beautiful light, and helping you to look naturally gorgeous! Have you ever sat on a park bench and just "people watched"? Each of them have a different walk and a unique expression. That is what I want to capture. Who you are and what makes you, you. Whether its a wedding or portrait session, my goal is to create a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere will allow you to be who you are!

Q: Golden Hour

The golden hour, is the first hour of light after sunrise, and the last hour of light before sunset, although this time varies between seasons. During these times the sun is low in the sky, producing a soft, diffused light which is much more flattering than the harsh midday sun. The light is warm, lovely, and produces some of the most beautiful, magical photos. I always recommend timing your session around this time.

Q: Can We Post Our Photos On Social Media?

A: Abolutally! If you want to share your photos on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterets, etc. Go for it but I would greatly appreciate it if you gave me a mention or credit.

Q: What Should I/We Wear?

A: Whatever you choose to wear, just make sure that it is representative of who you are and that it makes you feel amazing! A few suggestions: Please avoid logos, busy patterns. The goal is to have everyone complement each other, but not be too “matchy matchy.” avoid both wearing the same colors but instead wear complimentary colors such as light blue with maybe a pink or an orange. My style in photography is more of a candid, editorial style and you can get fun with your clothing! I always suggest layers/textures. Feel free to bring a change of clothes. I always suggest scouting out Pinterest for some inspiration.

Q: Can We Edit Any Of The Pictures You Give Us?

A: The answer is no, for a few reasons. I spend a lot of time editing your images to perfection. You hire me for my style, in both posing and editing, so I assume you like my style. I’m more than a person who owns a nice camera; I’m an artist with a style of my own who wants my work to be shown to friends and family as I have edited it. After all, you wouldn’t buy a painting and then paint over it, would you? :)

Q: Should We Do An Engagement Session?

A:  Absolutely! During the time we spend together for your engagement session, we get to know each other, laugh, and share stories. You two will become comfortable with me and being in front of my camera. By the wedding day, we won’t be strangers and you two will be happy with me taking many pictures of you! I also get to see how you two interact and the best ways to photograph you, ultimately giving you even better pictures on your big day! Because of this, all collections include a complementary engagement session.
